Spaceman Spiff Rides a Pony
Most people who know Georgia Poe Kincannon Barton recognize her as a bit of an iconoclast. Exhibit one here in Slovenia:
We needed bicycle helmets, but the house we are renting came only with children's skiing helmets. So Georgia chose one and went ahead and included the ski goggles. So far she has worn the goggles every time we've biked anywhere. So good!

I finally figured out that both Ben and Indya can (and do) write in this blog. "Spaceman Spiff has got to be Ben", I thought. Sure enough, there it was at the bottom of the page.
ReplyDeleteLoved the reference and Georgia really looks cool in the goggles - and, she's protecting her eyes, very practical.
I also loved the Ben endorsement of the Sausage Place. I'm so glad that you are enjoying Slovenia to the hilt. Plus, you have given us the opportunity to go there this winter - really looking forward to the trip.

The lesson of the Twirly Dress: Georgia doesn't need much. What she loves, she wears and grows out of: the yellow Nantucket raincoat, a few Special t shirts and now the goggles. Bravo for making a light carbon footprint, and bravo for some of the rest of us who help keep people employed with our purchases. The world is a wonderful place! Love you all so much!!!
